Me & Settings FAQ

Most settings are on the Me page: on the Wallet tab, tap the icon in the top-left corner. They're stored on your phone, so set them again after you reinstall FxWallet or move to a new phone.

How do I change the language, currency or theme?

Go to Me → Preferences and tap Language, Currency or Theme. Changing the currency needs an internet connection.

How are my balance changes calculated?

Go to Me → Preferences → Change Start Time, and choose Last 24 hours, the default, or a daily start at 00:00 in a time zone of your choice. It sets how FxWallet calculates changes in your balance, change percentages and charts.

How do I turn notifications on or off?

Go to Me → System Notification, and turn each type on or off, such as Payment for your transactions, Crypto Gifts, Gas Cards and Market price alerts.

How do I save an address I send to often?

Go to Me → Address Book and tap Add Address. Choose the Network, enter the Address and a Name, then tap Save. An address on an EVM network is saved for all EVM networks. When you send, tap the address book icon in the address field to pick it.

Each wallet account has its own Address Book, stored on your phone, so add the addresses again after you reinstall FxWallet. Check the whole address before you send, even a saved one: see Send crypto.

How do I see the Gas Card option only when I need it?

Go to Me → Preferences → Gas Card and turn off Enable gas card. FxWallet then offers a Gas Card only when you don't have enough of the network's native coin. See Pay gas with a Gas Card.

What does clearing the cache delete?

Me → Clear Cache deletes temporary data, such as images and saved prices. It doesn't touch your wallets, keys, Address Book or preferences.

Where are the security settings?

Me → Security has biometrics and resetting the wallet. See Reset the wallet.

Why isn't a token on my home screen?

It may be hidden, or not added yet. See Why is my balance not showing?
