Bridge tokens to another network

A swap only exchanges tokens on one network. To move tokens to another network, open the Swap tab and switch to Bridge, choose the token and the two networks, enter the amount you pay, then confirm. A bridge takes longer than a swap, because it waits for both networks and for the bridge in between.

Before you confirm

• FxWallet picks the route that gives you the most after all fees.
• The fees include the bridge's own fee and the network fees, shown under Fees & Gas.
• You enter the amount you pay. The amount you receive is an estimate until the bridge completes.

Finish routes that need you

Some routes take several steps, such as proving the transfer on one network and then claiming the tokens on the other, after a waiting time. When a bridge needs you, the Bridge screen shows Action Needed: open it and follow the steps.

The tokens don't arrive until you finish every step, and each step is a transaction on its network, with its network fee. Don't leave a bridge marked Action Needed.

Follow a bridge

The Bridge screen has Bridge History, where you can open each bridge and see its steps. If a bridge can't complete, FxWallet returns the funds automatically, minus the fees.

If a bridge takes much longer than usual, look up its transaction hash (TXID) in a block explorer for each network. If the bridge still doesn't arrive, contact support with the transaction hashes.

If FxWallet says a route or the bridge service is unavailable, try again later.
