Download FxWallet and check it's genuine

Download FxWallet only from the App Store, Google Play or the official website, www.fxwallet.com. Fake wallet apps copy FxWallet's name and icon to steal mnemonic phrases, so check the app before you create or import a wallet.

The safest way to reach the right download is the buttons on www.fxwallet.com.

Never install FxWallet from a link someone sends you, an ad, or a file shared in a chat. Install an APK only from www.fxwallet.com.

Check that the app is genuine​

Before you add any funds, check the store page:

  • The app is called FxWallet.
  • The developer is DXP COMPUTING POWER FOUNDATION PTE. LTD. on the App Store, and ECHOINFI PTE. LTD. on Google Play.
  • On Google Play, the page's address ends in id=com.fxfi.fxwallet. On the App Store, it contains id1560943983.

If the name, the developer or the address doesn't match, don't install the app.

The real FxWallet never asks you to type in your mnemonic phrase, except when you choose to import a wallet. An app that asks for it to "verify", "sync" or "upgrade" your wallet is fake. If you entered your mnemonic phrase or private key in a fake app, act as if your wallet is compromised and move your assets at once.

Keep the app up to date​

To see your version, go to Me → About Us. When a new version is available, you see Version Update there, and FxWallet asks you to update when you open it. Tap Update to go to the download page. Updates include security fixes, so install them.
