Market FAQ

The Market tab helps you find tokens across networks, follow them in your Watchlist, set price alerts, and follow large moves on the blockchain. It shows information: it doesn't hold your crypto or give investment advice.

Can I trust a token because it's in Market?

No. A token being listed or searchable doesn't mean FxWallet endorses it or that it's safe. Scammers create tokens with the same name and logo as real ones, so check the contract address on the project's official website before you buy or add a token. Why can't I find a token?

FxWallet may not support its network, or there may be no market data for it yet. Search by its contract address as well as by its name or symbol.

Why is a price different from other sites?

Market data comes from FxWallet's data sources and can lag a little, so a price may differ slightly from an exchange or another site.

How do the Watchlist and price alerts work?

• Tap the star next to a token, or at the top of its page, to add it to your Watchlist. A token on several networks has an entry for each network. The Watchlist has a limit.
• Tap the bell on a token's page to set a price alert: choose Above or Below, enter the price, then tap Create Alert.
• An alert notifies you once, when the price reaches your target, and then moves to Triggered. You can't edit an alert: cancel it and create a new one.
• Alerts need notifications: go to Me → System Notification and turn on Price Alerts under Market.

Why is my Watchlist empty?

Your Watchlist, price alerts and watched addresses belong to the wallet you're using, and FxWallet stores them online, not in your wallet's backup. Each wallet has its own lists, and after you reinstall FxWallet or restore your wallet on a new phone, they start empty.

What are on-chain signals?

On-chain Signals, behind the trend icon at the top of the Market tab, shows recent large buys, sells and transfers by whales (addresses that hold large amounts) and by addresses you watch. Signals are information, not advice: a whale's move doesn't tell you where a price will go.

Can I follow an address?

Yes. Tap the eye icon at the top of the Market tab to open Watched Addresses, tap +, choose the network and enter the address. Its moves then appear in On-chain Signals. Watching an address gives you no control over it, watched addresses don't send push notifications, and you can only watch a limited number.

Can I buy or sell from Market?

Not in Market itself. When a token supports it, you can go on to Swap to exchange it, which costs a network fee.
