Auction Rules

Basic information​

  • Handshake will release a batch of new domain names every week. After the first bid, anyone can participate in that bidding within a week, and each user can bid multiple times.

  • After the auction ends, the bid of each bidder will be displayed. The actual bidder wins and pays the actual bid amound of the second highest bidder, and obtain the ounership of the domain.

  • If you are not the highest bidder, please redeem the domain name. You can check the domain name in [Pending Redemption].

Auction Rules&Process​

  1. Lockup amount = bid + blind(bluffing)

  2. Auction period : 15 days = 5days(Bidding period) + 10 days(Reveal period)

  3. Bidding period : place bids during this time, it last for 5 days,only the lockup amount can be seen, others bid and blind are invisible.

  1. In reveal : last for 10days(approximately), no bids anymore, reveal it to see the bids and blind.
